Sharad Yadav is a 23-year old youth leader who has ‘joined politics to bring change’. Born and brought up in the land of rich culture and heritage, he has become the face of youth in the Banka town of Bihar. Yadav completed his studies in management from Lucknow University and always had empathy for others.
There has not been a single day in his life that he has only spent chilling and not thinking about the miseries and well-being of others. He is considered as an inspiration for influencing the youth towards social service as he considers himself a social servant who supports those struggling to even meet their basic needs.
He is a person grounded to earth and has deep family values which is visible in his social service. Despite coming from a political background, Yadav was not inclined towards politics initially, however, he wanted to serve the society and make a difference.
The people of Banka look forward to Yadav as an upcoming youth leader as he has always been committed to ethics like a true patriot.
During the pandemic crisis, he helped the needy, going door to door and provided them with food and medicines, organized blood donations campaigns and gave blankets to the poor in winters.
He considers his duty to curb bribery as it devoids the deserving candidate of a fair opportunity and is only advantageous to the rich. For this, Yadav is hosting several rallies with a supporting team of over 3000 known as ‘Team Sharad’.
Yadav feels blessed and obliged towards the journey that he has taken up.
He believes in the words of Sir Martin Luther King — “Never, never, be afraid to do what’s right, especially if the well-being of a person or animal is at stake. Society’s punishments are small compared to the wounds we inflict on our soul when we look the other way”.
