Lucknow: A special CBI court in Lucknow Wednesday acquitted all 32 accused in the 28-year-old Babri Masjid demolition case. The over 2,000-page-long verdict said the demolition was not pre-planned and ruled out the conspiracy theories in the December 1992 incident.

For special CBI Judge S.K. Yadav, who pronounced the verdict, Wednesday was like any other day. Yadav had spent the last five years hearing the case and the last 30 days burning the midnight oil to analyse voluminous evidence, witnesses’ statements, and arguments by the defense to write the judgment.

He, however, acknowledged that it was the biggest case of his judicial career.

On Wednesday morning, minutes before Yadav was to leave for court, ThePrint’s National Photo Editor Praveen Jain and Senior Assistant Editor Ananya Bhardwaj visited his residence to bring you some exclusive pictures with his family.
